Stuart enjoyed his time at the 2016 FDLI Conference in Washington D.C. This year, on top of sponsoring the event for the 3rd consecutive year, Stuart had the opportunity to speak on Making Career Connections in Life Sciences.

Career Connection: a direct personal link with someone who is interested in helping you professionally
Stuart offered tips on managing social media accounts, such as LinkedIN, where background information can help create a connection and allow someone to highlight important parts of their resume. Stuart advised to go after places you want to work NOW – why wait for a job to be advertised? By then, it may be too late! Try to find that competitive edge against internal candidates, but in order to do so one must be assertive and confident.
